Mrs Toye joined the Royal Greenwich Trust School in September 2019. Mrs Toye has extensive leadership experience acquired through various roles within the secondary sector including Education Consultant, Principal/Headteacher, Co-principal, Associate Principal, Deputy Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher.

As a highly motivated and innovative leader, Mrs Toye has a proven track record for successfully leading and managing across diverse areas of responsibility. Her core talent in viewing challenges as opportunities and in achieving intended outcomes with drive and enthusiasm supports her dedication to raising standards.

Mrs Toye is an advocate for young people who, at the heart of all decisions and actions, maintains clarity on what is ultimately of greatest benefit to the students within the learning community.

Mr Williams joined the Royal Greenwich Trust School in June 2023 and has been teaching for 20 years. He has a wide range of leadership experiences, having been a Head of Department, Lead Practitioner, and a Head of Year early on in his career. He has 10 years of senior leadership experience, working within Tower Hamlets, Greenwich, and Bexley and having been a Deputy Headteacher working within a large Multi Academy Trust.  

Having extensive leadership experience of pastoral, behaviour, and curriculum across a range of London school, Mr. Williams has a track record of developing whole school systems and strategy that lead to sustained school improvement. 

Educated at the University of Exeter, Mr. Williams has a passion for teaching both English and Drama and is driven by ensuring all students have access to high quality teaching in the classroom and are exposed to a rich and challenging curriculum, and working relentlessly in giving students the life chances all young people deserve.  

Miss Saunders is an Assistant Headteacher with leadership responsibility for our school’s character development provision. Prior to joining the teaching profession, Miss Saunders studied Business Management at the University of Sheffield. Miss Saunders is committed to ensuring that students leave RGTS as well-rounded individuals and utilises a wide range of professional networks and our Trust partners to ensure that the best provision is in place to support this. As a leader, she is passionate about team work and school culture leads several initiatives to ensure that staff are supported and recognised for their efforts at RGTS.

Mr Davey began working with the University Schools Trust in June 2020.  He graduated from Dartington College of Arts with a degree in Theatre and completed his teacher training with the London Arts Consortium.  He has significant experience in London schools in a variety of leadership positions: as a Head of Drama, Head of Year and Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for pastoral matters. He joined the senior leadership team at RGTS in September 2021 as Deputy Headteacher for Inclusion.

Mr Toye joined RGTS in March 2020, just before the national lockdown. He completed a joint honours degree in Psychology and Spanish at the University of Middlesex, before working and teaching in Spain. He has taught at Haberdashers Aske’s in London and schools in the South East. At RGTS Mr Toye teaches Spanish and manages the Faculty, as well as leading Years 10 and 11. Outside of school, Mr Toye is a passionate Crystal Palace supporter.

 Mrs Houston joined the school in Autumn 2020 as an experienced senior leader with extensive knowledge of leading teaching and learning.  

Mrs Houston studied Art Education at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin before beginning her teaching career in London. Throughout her teaching career she has had a passion for leading staff development, initial teacher training and coaching programmes.  

Mrs Houston is committed to ensuring that teachers and students feel valued and supported in order for them to reach their full potential. As a leader, she is passionate about education and believes that education has the ability to improve life chances for young people.

With a passion for learning that transcends equations, Mrs Adodo brings 17+  years of experience and a diverse background to her role as SENCO. After years of honing her skills as a data analyst and software support specialist, she pursued her true calling in education, first mastering the world of mathematics as a teacher and then leading the department as Head of Maths for six years.

 Now, Mrs Adodo leverages her technical expertise and deep understanding of numbers to empower students of all abilities, building bridges to success and fostering a love for learning within each individual.

Mr Heppell joined RGTS in April 2023. Following a successful business career in the London Insurance Market and as a CEO in the Tech sector, he joined the teaching profession in 2016, training with Now Teach. He has subsequently worked in schools in Lewisham and Greenwich, as a Subject Lead and Senior Leader.  

Mr Heppell graduated with a degree in Geography from University College London, but it is the impact that Mathematics has on the life chances and employment prospects of young people that motivates him to teach, lead and promote the subject through his work in schools.

Miss Cariss joined RGTS in 2017, its inaugural year as a secondary school, and has been part of its exciting journey as the Head of Faculty for English and Whole-School literacy lead. Miss Cariss holds a BA in English Literature and a PGCE English with Drama from Newcastle University. She spent the first 7 years of her teaching career based in the North-East and moved to London in 2015 as a Head of Faculty teaching in Lambeth and then moving to RGTS. Miss Cariss has extensive knowledge of Greenwich Borough having lived in the area since 2015 and is passionate about the diverse nature of the Borough and the students RGTS serves. She is dedicated to students receiving the best possible education and experience during their time in education so they can be the best possible citizens of the future.

Mr Drumm joined RGTS In September 2023. He graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University with a joint honours degree in Pharmaceutical Science and Biological Chemistry. He has held a variety of leadership positions: as a Director of Science, Associate Assistant Principal and Assistant Principal in both Lincolnshire and London schools. Mr Drumm is responsible for whole school assessment and raising standards.
